OSTC-NE student awarded scholarship from National Technical Honor Society
Casey Rosenberg, an Entrepreneurship & Advanced Marketing student at Oakland Schools Technical Campus – Northeast and senior at Rochester High School, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
Rosenberg is one of 250 outstanding NTHS members nationwide to receive a $1,000 Jon H. Poteat Scholarship based on their ability to consistently exemplify the seven character attributes of NTHS – Skill, Honesty, Service, Responsibility, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership.
Rosenberg was a stand-out student in the Entrepreneurship & Advanced Marketing program. He was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society his junior year, and maintained the standards required for membership throughout his senior year as well. In addition to NTHS membership, Rosenberg was also a member of DECA and was the recipient of the Dean’s Award both his junior and senior year due to his accomplishments in the program.
Casey plans to attend Michigan State University in the fall.
