Mason Educated Scholarships
Northwest campus students only
Selection Process
Masonic Education Scholarships will be awarded to well-rounded students who are involved in extracurricular activities and work or volunteer their time in service to their community. The activities supporting the local communities will receive priority. Cedar #60 is an active Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons. Candidates who have Masonic affiliation or family relation to a member of the Masonic Fraternity will be given some degree of special consideration, but this is not a requirement.
Applications can be picked up from the OSTC-Northwest campus main office or online on the Cedar 60 website.
Three scholarships are available for $500; one from each area: Skilled Trades, Information Technology, and Engineering.
Eligibility
Graduating High School Seniors from the Oakland Schools Technical Campus – Northwest (OSTC-NW) intending to further their education by attending a public community/junior college, a four-year institution, or a vocational training institution that grants a degree, certification, or license.
Seeking students who live in or attended school in the Clarkston area; favoring a student with commitment to their community and charity.
This scholarship is available to all intended postsecondary Majors.
Minimum GPA requirement of a 2.0.
