Scholarships
The Oakland Schools Technical Campuses provide several career and educational scholarship opportunities for our students. Explore the information and contact your career counselor with any questions.
Application deadline is February 11, 2025.
Scholarships awards range between $500 and $7,500, and apply to the following school year. Awards are based on interest and participation in career technical education, academic achievement and career goals. Awards will be presented at the CTE Recognition event on the evening of Monday, April 28, 2025 at Oakland Schools.

The Oakland Community College Chancellor's Scholarship is awarded to one senior enrolled at each Oakland Schools Technical Campus.
The award is for $4,000 ($2,000 for the fall semester and $2,000 for the winter semester), is non-renewable, and is good only for the first academic year following the student's high school graduation.

The SET SEG Foundation believes in supporting Michigan public school students in the pursuit of enrichment opportunities that advance learning and create opportunities. With the shortage of skilled trade workers in Michigan, we want to help revitalize these career paths and support students in their professional pursuits by giving 20 scholarships each in the amount of $500.

Over the years, NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides close to $300,000 in scholarships annually, and strives to help connect education and industry to build a highly skilled workforce.
NTHS believes that career and technical education (CTE) students must be supported and encouraged to seek higher education in today’s highly competitive global community. Aware of the increasing cost to attend post-secondary schools, NTHS is dedicated to providing scholarships to CTE students who choose a skilled trade as their career. The Elwin Brown Education Scholarships are seeking graduating High School Seniors attend a Vocational or Technical training program that grants a degree, certification or license, who live in or attended school in the Clarkston area, and favoring a student with a commitment to their community and charity. For 2024, we are offering: One, $1500 for Masonic Education Scholarship. One, $1500 for Vocational Education Scholarship

The Michigan Career Placement Association (MCPA) works to improve career preparation for students by providing services to professionals involved in the placement of students into work-based learning experiences. MCPA has established a scholarship to recognize and reward an outstanding senior who has made extraordinary efforts and realized success in his/her work-based learning placement. The student may use the scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or career-related supplies.
