NOTICE OF CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION OFFERINGS AT THE OAKLAND SCHOOLS TECHNICAL CAMPUSES (OSTC)

Oakland Schools Technical Campuses (OSTC) is comprised of four campuses that provide Career Technical Education programs in a unique learning environment that delivers the technical, academic and workplace skills essential for pursuing post-secondary education and successful careers. The curriculum, equipment, technology and staffing at the campuses are designed to meet current and emerging industry needs and training requirements. All of the programs are offered under the guidance of certified teachers, counselors and school-to-work coordinators.

The following programs are available:

Agriscience and Environmental Technologies; Automotive Technology; Collision Repair and Refinishing; Computer Programming; Construction Technology; Cosmetology; Criminal Justice; Culinary Arts/Hospitality; Cybersecurity Networking; Energy-Electrical Technologies; Graphic and Communication Design; Machining; Engineering, Robotics & Mechatronics; Entrepreneurship and Advanced Marketing; Health Sciences; Medium/Heavy Truck and Equipment; and Welding.

Criteria for admission vary by program and may be based on grade level. See the course catalog at www.ostconline.com for specific information pertaining to admission criteria.
