Fifty-seven OSTC-NE students competed at the SkillsUSA State Conference in Grand Rapids from April 11–13, accompanied by nine instructors.
Serenity Carr, a senior from Oxford High School and a standout student in Engineering, Robotics & Mechatronics, was honored as the OSTC-NE Outstanding CTE Student of the Year.
On Saturday, May 3, the Competition Corvette Club of Michigan awarded three $1,000 scholarships to OSTC-NE students during a ceremony at Matick Chevrolet in Redford.
Five outstanding OSTC-NE students were awarded the prestigious Jon H. Poteat Scholarship, each receiving $1,000 for their excellence in career and technical education.
