A Journey Towards Success in Health Sciences

A second-year Health Sciences student, Lily Schroeder has always been passionate about entering the medical field. With a keen interest in physical and occupational therapy, Lily took a significant step toward her career goals by completing her clinical assignment at Lake Orion Physical Therapy.

Her hard work and dedication paid off when she received the exciting news that Lake Orion Physical Therapy is hiring her permanently through the summer and while she attends school in the fall. This opportunity provides valuable hands-on experience and solidifies her path in the medical field.

Lily plans to attend Macomb Community College to pursue an associate’s degree in physical therapy. Then, she will transfer to Oakland University to complete her education and further her career.

Jenna Doyle, Lily's Health Sciences Instructor, highly praised her, saying, "Lily always comes in with a positive attitude and is ready to work. She is quick to participate in group activities and one of the first to check off her skills. I have never seen her have a bad day."
