Awards Convocation Provides Recognition

The Awards Convocation on May 4, 2023, was a momentous event celebrating students’ achievements from various programs. Held in both morning and afternoon sessions, the convocation recognized students with various awards, including the prestigious Dean's Award, All A's accolades, and National/Industry Certifications.

The ceremony also acknowledged the accomplishments of students enrolled in Oakland Technical Early College and those who had engaged in valuable work-based learning experiences. This demonstrated the diverse pathways and opportunities available to students at the convocation.

An ice cream social was held for students and staff to further commemorate the occasion. The social provided a delightful and well-deserved treat for everyone in attendance, creating a celebratory atmosphere.
