Industry Partner Brings Awareness
Ben Carlson, the Academy Manager at SW North America, Inc. presented to Engineering, Robotics & Mechatronics students on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
He focused on the next steps after graduation and beyond and spoke about the MAT2 program and the opportunities it can bring to students.
Ben encouraged students to look at all the options after graduation, including apprenticeships, attending college and joining the workforce.
Torben Schmidt, a 2021 graduate in MAT2 also addressed the students and encouraged those first-year students who are juniors to return next year. He also explained how much he uses the skills and techniques he learned during his time at OSTC-Northeast.
