Nacho Normal School Day and Crazy Coney Day

Food and fun were on the menu this September as OSTC Northeast students enjoyed two long-standing campus traditions. On two consecutive Thursdays, Sept. 11 and 18, the Culinary Arts and Hospitality program prepared nachos for students, followed by coney dogs.

The Student Support Team joined in, serving food and helping to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Academic Support Instructor John “Doc” Landry, who has volunteered at these events for years, said the meals bring smiles to students.

“The kids are happy and appreciative,” Landry said. “They like to do things that are different and know that school can be fun.”
