September brought some delicious surprises to OSTC-NE, with Culinary Arts/Hospitality students showcasing their talents during two special events.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, students and staff enjoyed "Nacho Regular School Day." OSTC-NE administration, student support staff, academic instructors, and social work interns happily served up nachos made by the Culinary Arts students throughout the day.
The following week, on Thursday, Sept. 19, "Coney Crazy Day" continued the tradition of good eats. Culinary Arts students prepared delicious coney dogs, and OSTC staff and Oakland Schools Deputy Superintendent Chris Delgado stepped in to assist and help serve the students with enthusiasm.
Both events highlighted the students' culinary skills and brought the campus community together for some tasty fun.
