OSTC-NE Auto and Collision Students Earn More Than 200 ASE Certifications

Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northeast students earned 219 Automotive Service Excellence certifications during spring testing.

Fifty-five Automotive Technology students earned a combined 138 ASE certifications, while 49 Collision Repair and Refinishing students earned 81 certifications.

Overall, students earned 219 certifications out of 449 certification exams administered, resulting in a 48.8 percent certification rate.

ASE certification is a nationally recognized industry credential that validates technical knowledge and professional competency in automotive service and repair. Earning ASE certifications helps students qualify for employment opportunities across the automotive and collision repair industries while increasing industry credibility and workforce readiness.

The certification results reflect OSTC-NE’s continued emphasis on hands-on technical training and industry-aligned instruction.
