Following strong performances in the SkillsUSA Regional Competitions, several OSTC-NE students have qualified to compete in the SkillsUSA State Competition in Grand Rapids, MI, from April 11-13, 2025.

Automotive Technology:

Jacob Morgan – 1st Place in Automotive Service Technology (earned a scholarship and toolset in honor of the late Mr. Juwan Willis, OSTC-NE Automotive Technology Instructor)

Cosmetology:

Customer Service – Alana Dye (5th Place)

Prepared Speech – Chloe Reed-Nordwell (2nd Place)

Employment Application Process – Avari Terrell (1st Place)

Job Interview – Jayana Louden (2nd Place)

Cosmetology – Evalyn Dolata (3rd Place)

Cosmetology Mannequin – Sadie Hall (1st Place)

Esthetics – Addison Kleiner (Model: Cecily Henderson) (1st Place)

Esthetics – Faith Victory (Model: Katherine Similuk) (2nd Place)

Prepared Speech – Hana Kaufman (1st Place)

Collision Repair and Refinishing:

Auto Refinishing Technology – Hiliana Pasillas (3rd Place)

Collision Repair Technology – Evelin Spiece (4th Place)

Welding:

Welding Overall – Matthew Toffolo (1st Place)

Welding GMAW – Ethan Laird (3rd Place)

Welding OAC/PAC – Nathan Vander Sluis (3rd Place)

Construction Technology:

Electrical Construction Wiring – Blake Burry (1st Place)
