OSTC-NE Students Earn Scholarships Across Multiple Programs

Students across several Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northeast programs earned scholarships and recognition this spring for academic achievement, technical skill, and community involvement.

The Corvette Club of Michigan awarded five $1,000 scholarships to OSTC-NE students, including Lanberto Acuna of Pontiac International Technology Academy in Automotive Technology; Felix Renner of Stoney Creek High School in Collision Repair and Refinishing; and Engineering, Robotics, and Mechatronics students Benjamin Diekmann of Lake Orion High School, Nykolas Liles of Stoney Creek High School, and Tyler Liles of Stoney Creek High School. The ERM students are also second-year participants in the Oakland Technical Early College program.

Ella Harrison, a Health Sciences student from Rochester High School, earned the Corrine Robinson Memorial Scholarship from the Rochester Community Schools Foundation. The scholarship recognizes students pursuing nursing careers while demonstrating a passion for the arts. Harrison was also recognized as the OSTC Student of the Year in Health Sciences.

Max Grekowicz, a Welding student from Rochester Adams High School, earned the Hayes Family Memorial Scholarship from the Rochester Community Schools Foundation for perseverance and community involvement.

Cosmetology students Katelyn Emrick of Birmingham Groves High School and Madison Salow of Walled Lake Northern High School, along with Culinary Arts student Emma Castonia of Oxford High School, earned 2026 Career Kickstart Awards from the Oakland Schools Education Foundation on April 27.
