Serenity Carr Named Outstanding CTE Student for OSTC-NE

Serenity Carr, a senior from Oxford High School and a standout student in Engineering, Robotics & Mechatronics, was honored as the OSTC-NE Outstanding CTE Student of the Year. Nominated by her instructor Mr. Wilson, Carr has excelled academically and professionally.
She currently participates in Oakland Technical Early College and is completing a work-based learning placement with Dry Coolers, Inc., a leading industrial cooling solutions company located in Oxford.
Carr plans to complete her associate degree at Oakland Community College while continuing her work in the field of Mechatronics.
Her family joined her at the countywide CTE awards ceremony held April 28 at Oakland Schools Main Campus.
