The recent STEAM Expo at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, sponsored by Selfridge Air Force Base, offered students a day packed with learning and exploration.
The event, a precursor to the 2024 Selfridge Air Show & Open House that will be held in June, featured interactive activities ranging from meteorology presentations to robotics demos.
Highlights included a Chinook helicopter landing, a skydiving display, and hands-on sessions with local science and art organizations. By providing rich STEAM-related experiences, the expo was a hit among students, sparking curiosity and excitement for the sciences and arts.
