Health Sciences Students Attend Michigan MedTalk
On Wednesday, Nov. 16. five of Mrs. Doyle's second-year Health Sciences students joined several students from local area high schools to attend the Michigan MedTalk Conference held at Macomb Community College.
Students observed eight 20-minute presentations on a variety of topics including: concussions, implicit bias, heart health, medical errors as criminal offenses, the impact of virtual learning, talking to friends about mental health, sexual abuse and abusive behaviors, and the importance of first impressions.
