This past summer, over 60 bright young minds entering the 8th and 9th grades for the 2023-2024 school year embarked on an exciting journey into the world of Career and Technical Education (CTE). Oakland Schools Technical Campus - Northeast (OSTC-NE) proudly hosted these students, providing them with invaluable hands-on experiences.
Under the guidance of dedicated instructors, these future leaders explored a diverse range of CTE fields, including Automotive Technology with Mr. Waite, Collision Repair & Refinishing with Mr. Acuna, Culinary Arts/Hospitality with Chef Lord, Health Sciences with Mr. Licari and Machining with Mr. Mangani.
These summer CTE programs offered a glimpse into potential career paths and fostered a passion for learning and growth. Students left OSTC-NE with newfound knowledge, skills, and a sense of direction for their academic and professional journeys.
