Students enrolled in the Construction Technology program are using their skill sets for a larger purpose.
Over the course of the school year, they have been building dog houses and benches for Oakland County Parks.
Many of the students are working toward gaining their OSHA-10 and or OSHA-30 industry-recognized certifications.
This spring and summer as you enjoy the parks, make sure to notice the craftsmanship and many hours of dedication performed by the OSTC-Northwest students.

Congratulations to OSTC-Northwest and Clarkston High School student Logan Webb on finishing in first place at the Skills USA Regional Competition, held at Washtenaw Community College on Friday, Feb. 3.
