Future Leaders Golf Outing Raises Over $22,000 for Charity and Student Club

The 23rd Annual Future Leaders Golf Outing, hosted by the Entrepreneurship & Advanced Marketing program, was another standout success. Students led all aspects of the event, from business sponsorships and marketing to logistics and hospitality.

Held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club, this year’s outing featured:

• Two Platinum Sponsors (Elowsky Lawn Services, Triumphant Financial Group)
• Four Gold Sponsors
• Six Event Sponsorships
• 12 General Sponsorships
• 79 Charitable Donors
• 30 Student Golfers, 53 Industry Golfers
• 28 Guests at the Lunch/Banquet

The event raised over $22,000 to support DECA student activities and two charitable organizations: Cure AHC and the Wounded Warrior Project. Top student fundraisers included Makayla Hundt, Nate Elowsky, Joe Strange, Kennedy Johnston, and Kenzie Elser.

Entrepreneurship & Advanced Marketing Instructor Tom Neal praised the teamwork, saying, “This event is a culmination of everything our students have learned about leadership, business, and community responsibility.”
