Mark Edwards
Hallie Garner, a junior in the Graphic & Communication Design program at OSTC Northwest, received an honorable mention in the 11th grade category of the 2025 Oakland County Treasurer’s Office Financial Empowerment Arts Contest.
The contest encouraged students to express the importance of financial literacy through the visual arts creatively. Garner’s work earned her a $125 cash prize, sponsored by Flagstar Bank.
Her design will be featured in upcoming promotional materials from the Treasurer’s Office as part of its financial empowerment campaign.
