OSTC Northwest Students Honored in Art Contest

Graphic and Communication Design students at OSTC-Northwest, Evangeline Cobb and Kennedy Warhus and were awarded $100 each as honorable mentions in the 2023-2024 Oakland County Treasurer’s Financial Empowerment Arts Contest.

Competing against 144 entries from 17 high schools, their work stood out in creativity and thematic integration, demonstrating their understanding of financial literacy through art.

The contest, now in its 13th year, is a collaborative effort by the Oakland County Treasurer’s Office, Flagstar Bank, and Oakland Schools to foster financial literacy and artistic talent among high school students.
