Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest Health Sciences students earned top honors during the HOSA State Leadership Conference held April 15-18 in Traverse City.

Four OSTC-NW students earned top placements in their competitive events, qualifying to represent the campus at the HOSA International Leadership Conference this June in Indianapolis. In addition, another student earned recognition as a state finalist, competing among the best Health Sciences students in Michigan.

Beyond the competition results, students were recognized for demonstrating professionalism, respect and maturity throughout conference activities and competition events, reflecting the values and expectations of the OSTC-NW Health Sciences program.

The annual HOSA conference provides students with opportunities to apply healthcare knowledge, strengthen leadership skills and prepare for careers in the medical and health sciences fields.
