Things Are Blooming in Agriscience and Environmental Technologies
Mark Edwards
With spring just around the corner, students in the Agriscience and Environmental Technologies program at OSTC-NW Northwest are busier than ever.
Under the guidance of Instructor Joel Berry and Instructional Technician John Stevens, students have germinated flower, vegetable, and herb seeds, propagated succulents, and transplanted shipments of flowering annuals.
Their dedication will soon be on full display at the annual Spring Plant Sale in May, where visitors can purchase beautiful flowers, fresh herbs, and homegrown vegetables. The sale is a great chance to support student learning while bringing a touch of spring into homes and gardens.
