The Entrepreneurship/Marketing and Programming students jumped into some fun while on a field trip at Legacy 925, a 200,000-square-foot family fun center in Oxford.
The group heard presentations from the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy 925 Christian Mills and Chief Operating Officer Jordan Knudsen. Mills and Knudsen explained their own personal journeys as entrepreneurs and shared potential strategies for success, while also admitting that luck has opened many doors along the way.
The two entrepreneurs fielded questions from students and discussed with them how to set and achieve goals in business. Following the presentation, students enjoyed a tour of the facility and learned about the aspects of owning a business, especially staffing. Students also enjoyed some fun as they jumped on trampolines, were challenged by the obstacle course, and competed in laser tag. The experience was capped off with a pizza lunch.
