Instructor Chef Frank Costanzo, along with instructional technicians Dalia Hempel and Chef Kryzia Garza, took over 20 Culinary students to the annual Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA) trade show held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.  Here students competed in the tabletop competition, earning 2nd place overall. They also had an important opportunity to work side-by-side with industry partners, mentors, and potential employers.

The MRA Foundation, or ProStart, supports the curriculum used at OSTC-SE and directly correlates to the instruction students receive at our campus.  Students utilized what they had learned and experienced in the classroom and translated that into skills to impress restaurant local owners and managers.
