OSTC-SW Machining student wins state competition

Congratulations to OSTC-Southwest Machining student Ryan Kosmowski, from Novi High School, who recently won first place at the first-ever Virtual Machining Competition at Ferris State University. As the winner, Kosmowski was awarded a $500 scholarship to Ferris State.

Students were mailed a blueprint and they had to machine the part within a time limit at their school, then the instructor shipped the completed parts to Ferris State to be judged. Kosmowski competed against 21 other students in his event.
