8th Annual College & Career Fair

OSTC-SE recently hosted its highly anticipated 8th Annual College & Career Fair. This dynamic event provided an invaluable platform for students to delve into the realm of post-secondary opportunities. The fair saw a remarkable turnout with over 35 representatives from various prestigious institutions and industries within Michigan, offering students a wealth of insight and guidance.
 
The event, a collaboration between OSTC-SE and diverse stakeholders, aimed to empower students by connecting them with program representatives and industry experts. These professionals provided illuminating perspectives and invaluable advice related to different career pathways. Notably, all 13 programs at OSTC-SE were well-represented, ensuring that each student had access to tailored guidance aligned with their specific academic pursuits.
 
The positive impact of the event was evident, with students expressing their appreciation for the chance to interact directly with representatives from colleges, universities, and industry leaders. One senior Engineering student expressed gratitude for the opportunity to speak with representatives from various colleges, facilitating a head start in making a well-informed decision about their future.
 
Angie Haley, the OSTC-SE Counselor, lauded the event's success, noting that this year's fair was the most comprehensive and positively received to date. The overwhelming feedback from both students and representatives affirmed the event's significance, prompting many to mark their calendars for next year's gathering eagerly.
