OSTC Criminal Justice Students Participate in C2 Pipeline Forensics Labs at Wayne State

Criminal Justice students, under the guidance of instructor Crystal Nowka, participated in Wayne State University's C2 Pipeline STEM program.

The experience involved two forensic/STEM-certified labs focusing on ballistics and blood spatter analysis.

Students examined ammunition and analyzed blood spatter patterns using scientific methods to evaluate crime scene evidence. This immersive opportunity helped bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical application, introducing students to the interdisciplinary connection between criminal justice and STEM.
