Fall Frenzy Celebration

Fall Frenzy Celebration

The Student Support Services department kicked off the fall season with a bang at its annual Fall Frenzy celebration on Friday, Sept. 23. Students from all programs came together for a day filled with fun and camaraderie.

The event offered diverse activities to cater to everyone's interests. Basketball and volleyball courts buzzed with competitive energy, while giant Jenga and cornhole games provided a more relaxed atmosphere. For those seeking a unique experience, fowling, a fusion of football and bowling, was a hit.
The lively beats of a student DJ had participants grooving to the latest hits, creating an electric atmosphere. Meanwhile, delicious treats and snacks allowed students to mingle and savor the autumn spirit.

“Despite the cooler temperatures in the morning, our students were very engaged. Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves, the grilled hot dogs, and the excellent food created by our culinary students,” said Dean Miller.

A highlight of the event was the culinary expertise on display. The Collision department manned the grill, serving up mouthwatering delights, while the Culinary Arts/Hospitality program wowed everyone with a fall-themed charcuterie board.

Beyond the fun and food, the Fall Frenzy was a positive way to promote cross-program interactions, helping students build connections and familiarize themselves with the campus facilities. It was a fantastic start to the academic year, fostering a sense of community among students.
