Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southeast students explored college and career opportunities during a recent College and Career Day field trip focused on postsecondary education and workforce pathways.

During the first portion of the trip, students visited Oakland Community College, where they toured campus facilities and learned about academic programs connected to their technical and career interests. The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to college life and future educational opportunities.

In the afternoon, students traveled to BIG in Games at Zap Zone in Warren, where guest speakers discussed careers in programming, cybersecurity and graphic design. Students also participated in interactive activities and explored hands-on technology experiences throughout the facility.

The field trip connected classroom learning to future educational and professional opportunities while exposing students to a range of career possibilities in technology and related industries.
