VA Hospital Drive: Giving Back to Veterans
This fall, OSTC-Southeast demonstrated its commitment to community service with its annual hat, glove, and scarf drive, benefiting the VA Hospital in Detroit.
Throughout October and November, staff and students enthusiastically contributed to the cause. The highlight was on Thursday, Nov. 9, when 17 students took a leadership role, personally delivering the donations to the hospital. This visit provided students with a unique opportunity to interact with the hospital's staff and residents, deepening their understanding of the veterans' needs.
The drive, under the supervision of Counselor Angie Haley and Student Support Specialist Eric Scott, along with the Student Leadership team, was a resounding success.
