Oakland Schools Technical Campuses (OSTC) are designed for any student who wants to graduate high school with industry certifications, on-the-job experiences, business connections, and college credits. OSTC's are valuable extensions of our district high schools, and bring students customized, self-directed learning that guides them toward future career success. The goal of our OSTC's is to help students find the best program fit for their interests, experiences, and goals.

Twelve students from the OSTC-SE culinary program showcased their skills at the Michigan 2024 ProStart Invitational, competing in categories such as Cake Decorating, Tabletop Design, ServSafe Quiz Bowl, and Pasta preparation.

The Business Professionals of America (BPA) Regional Competition at Walsh College in Troy showcased talent for students specializing in Computer Programming and Cybersecurity Networking. Demonstrating exceptional skill, these students secured 10 medals, earning qualifications for the state competition in March.

OSTC-Southeast's Engineering, Robotics, and Mechatronics program proved their mettle as they ventured into the competitive world of robotics by participating in the Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association (OCCRA) competition.

From Thursday, Nov. 16 to Thursday, Dec. 7, OSTC-Southeast staff and students participated in "Snow Pile", a toy drive for the Children’s Hospital in Detroit.

This fall, OSTC-Southeast demonstrated its commitment to community service with its annual hat, glove, and scarf drive, benefiting the VA Hospital in Detroit.

At a recent Prostart Air National Guard Event, five culinary students from OSTC-SE (Demaris Harvey, Abbie Roth, Anya Blaquiere, Matt Moore, and Kaitlynn Rowe) showcased their culinary prowess in military pop-up kitchens fueled by jet fuel.

On October 10, 2023, the American Culinary Federation (ACF) opened doors for seven budding Southeast culinary students and their parents at the Michigan Chefs de Cuisine monthly meeting.

Student Support Specialist Eric Scott recently accompanied four enthusiastic students to the Multicultural Media Luncheon, a prominent diversity-themed event hosted at the Garden Theater in Detroit. This luncheon, held annually during the Detroit Auto Show, brings together industry leaders to celebrate diversity in the automotive world.

Excitement filled the air as OSTC-Southeast's FIRST robotics team, known as The CREW (Team 7769), debuted at the "Kettering Kickoff" event at Kettering University on Saturday, Sept. 23. This marked a momentous occasion for the team, and they certainly left their mark.
